A feisty little munchkin {Melbourne | Newborn Photographer}

Little Chloe certainly gave me a run for my money… she wanted to know what was going on ALL the time, so of course that meant no sleepiness for this little munchkin. She did eventually nod off though and once she did, she struck those poses like a pro – I swear, she’s done this before!

Chloe is an absolute treasure and I am so glad I got to capture her newness – her fuzzy ears, her teeny feet and those perfect little nails. Thank you Robyn and David for turning your home into a sauna for me – it was sooooo worth it, right?

Fun in the city {Melbourne| Newborn, Children’s and Family photography}

Last night I got to go and just let my hair down. It was such fun being out with the girls, eating tapas, drinking wine and just being merry. We also dabbled in a spot of night photography and my oh my, what fun! I can’t wait to do this again!

Pretty as a Petal {Melbourne | Baby Photographer}

It must be something about the name Caitlin, because they all seem to be such sweet, delicate, doll-like little girls. The little Caitlin I met this weekend was no different – she’s a little doll with the poutiest little lips (you can thank her gorgeous mother for those) and the sweetest disposition. Her skin is so smooth and delicate it’s almost porcelain-like, and her dark eyes are so soulful and deep. I didn’t want to stop playing with Caitlin, but alas, 4-month-old babies need their beauty sleep – how else do they maintain such perfection?

Thank you Jenny and Warren for helping me rearrange your entire home – for openining the curtains, then closing the curtains. For moving the cot here and then there. For changing this shirt to that one. You were AWESOME! Hope you enjoy your sneak peeks ‘;-)

Sienna’s Sneak Peek {Melbourne | Newborn Photographer}

What a little doll Sienna is. With her perfect porcelain skin and those pouty lips, she’s just so angelic in both looks and personality. She was just so calm and serence during our entire session, despite a snuffly nose, me poking and prodding her and a very curious big brother.

I’m so glad I got to capture this little angel in her first days of life. She is just beautiful Laura and Curtis. Enjoy her.

Mr Charisma! {Melbourne | Child Photographer}

Can anyone say PERSONALITY? Well this kid has it, in leaps and bounds. Little Mr Oliver is Adorable with a capital A! He burst into tears when I first arrived – they lasted, oh, 10 seconds and then he was little Mr Charisma. I have never… I repeat, never… had a child look into the camera and smile so much without any prompting. He’s a natural. Oliver has such a massive personality and I didn’t want to leave this gorgeous boy with the incredible blue eyes. I think he felt the same way – he burst into tears when I left too. I’m told he does this for everyone, but I’ll just pretend those tears were for me and me alone 😉

How can anyone resist THIS face?

My competition winner {Melbourne | Child Photographer}

You may remember a little while ago that I ran a competition to build up my blog following – because how else can I keep in touch with you all?

Well, Michelle was my gorgeous winner and she really went all out to ensure this shoot was so wonderfully magical. From the cane moses basket to the beautiful hanging butterfly mobile, the magical location, not to mention the absolutely stunning little Chloe – all these elements fell right into place to really capture some beautiful moments.

Thank you Michelle, Adrian (whoops – I think I was calling you Andrew the whole time… why didn’t you correct me! hehehe) and Chloe for being so wonderful.

Jordan’s Sneak Peek {Melbourne/Sydney | Child photographer}

This little man has so much personality. He had me mesmermised from the moment we met… and what I found even more mesmerising was that he had only just turned 2 in October! I would never have believed it if his mum hadn’t told me. He speaks beautifully, he’s so tall and handsome and he can hold a proper conversation – I would have pegged him for at least 3 or 4! But this little gorgeous fella made the perfect model and those piercing blue eyes are gonna make girls swoon in 15 years time! Mark my words 😉

Thank you Lancia and Shawn for making the afternoon such fun. And Lancia, we FINALLY got Shawn to look at the camera just once… and I thought toddlers were hard to convince, lol!

My little Ariel Niece {Melbourne | Family Photographer}

My good friend Sarah’s little girl Ariel is very special to me! She just is – I call her my little Ariel Niece and Sarah calls Mia her little Muffin Niece (I called Mia Muffin when she was in my belly!). I am so glad I got some special time with my little, angelic, gorgeous Ariel niece!

Sarah and I became friends after she defended me from a horde of attacks about my beliefs. She is very, very special to me and I am so glad I got to capture these gorgeous images of her family.
I *heart* you long time my lovely friend!

My first of the sneaky peekies… {Melbourne/Sydney | Child Photographer}

I finally got to meet my wonderful friend Alyssa and her gorgeous children, Noa and Charli! They’re every bit as beautiful as they look in the photos we’ve shared over the last 19 months (Noa is 3 weeks younger than Mia) and it was really so wonderful to meet them.
Hope you can get down to Melbourne soon Lyss!

This shoot felt very timeless to me – from the beautiful cast iron furniture to the very special tub that Noa’s granny used to swim in as a little girl. I just had to fill it up with bubbles and stick Noa and the two doggies in it. None of them liked it very much, but what special moments to capture! That’s why I just had to edit these images with a vintage feel… you’ll see what I mean below
